(P) Psychoanalyst. For those who have completed their training and possess supporting documentation. To be a member of this category, a minimum of 3 years of psychoanalytic training, an academic degree in any field, 3 years of personal analysis, and at least 1 year of supervision are required.

(PP) Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. For those who are psychodynamic psychotherapists but not psychoanalysts. A minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy training and an academic degree in any field are required to apply for this category.

(APP) Applied Psychoanalysis Professional. For professionals in other fields such as counseling, psychiatry, and psychology who use psychoanalysis as a clinical approach. A higher education degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields is required to apply for this category.

(S) Student. Hold a higher education degree in any field of knowledge (bachelor's or master's. Training analysts enrolled in 3-year programs that also require three years of personal analysis and at least one year of supervision are eligible for this category.
