Alba Riva Brito de Almeida (CRP 03/00854) Psychoanalyst with primary training from the Lacanian School of Bahia. Graduated in Psychology (1984) from UFBA – Federal University of Bahia. Master’s Degree in Psychoanalytic Theory (2001) from UFRJ – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. PhD in Public Health (2008) from the Institute of Collective Health at UFBA. Postdoctoral studies in Psychoanalysis and Anthropology at the University of Arizona in Tucson (2019). Postdoctoral studies in Racial Relations at the University of Texas in Austin (2024).
