Edila Hernandes

Psychoanalyst

Psychoanalyst with three years of training at NEIPSY and currently in the second year of a Psychoanalysis degree at UNINTER USA. Works with active listening and emotional support for men, women, adolescents, and couples, with a particular focus on mothers of neurodivergent children and immigrants experiencing psychological distress. Facilitates support groups for atypical mothers, emphasizing maternal mental health, emotional bonds, emotional overload, and belonging.

Acts as a couples therapist, providing a space for listening to marital conflicts, communication difficulties, and the reconstruction of emotional bonds. Additionally, she is a Christian Life Coach, licensed in the states of California, Massachusetts, and Florida.

Currently undergoing specialized training in grief and unrecognized forms of loss, expanding her scope to include care for invisible and subjective losses.

She is a volunteer at the Hope and Justice Foundation, where she supports Brazilian women in vulnerable situations in the United States, creating spaces for listening, empowerment, and subjective reconstruction.
